A
funeral mass for Joshua Williams, age 16 of Sammamish, was held at 1pm,
Saturday, January 26, 2002 at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1121
- 228th Ave SE, Sammamish. A graveside committal followed at Upper
Hillside Cemetery in Issaquah. Josh passed away Monday, January 21,
2002 at Snoqualmie Pass.
Josh was born August 7, 1985 in Bellevue, to Philip and Debra
Williams. He was raised in Sammamish and attended Skyline High
School. Josh was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing football, and
baseball, wake boarding, karate, and snow boarding. Josh especially
loved hanging with friends.
Outgoing
and brave in character, Josh will be remembered for his ability to
make people smile, and charming wit. He was a loving son, brother, and
devoted friend to many.
Survivors include his proud
parents, Philip and Debra Williams of Sammamish; sisters, Elizabeth
and Adrianna; grandparents, Jeanne Williams of Naperville, Illinois,
and Mike and Ethie Fideler of Spencer, Iowa.
